“Sapaio” Toscana IGT 2019

It is a classic Supertuscan from Bolgheri, inspired by the great wines of Bordeaux. The harvests and subsequent vinifications take place separately for each vine, following the different ripening periods of the grapes. The fermentations take place partly in stainless steel tanks and partly in wooden vats with maceration on the skins for a few weeks. The wine ages for 18 months in French oak barriques and refines for another 12 months in the bottle.

Intense ruby ​​red colour, aroma of ripe berries, plum, humus and sweet spices. Full-bodied and intense taste, round, soft, elegant, with velvety tannins.

Game, local preparations based on wild boar, braised red meat, excellent with medium-aged hard cheeses.
