Sassella “Stella Retica” Valtellina Superiore DOCG 2017

It comes from grassy vineyards facing south/east at an altitude of 400/600 m. After maceration for 120 days in 50 hl wooden vats, it refines for 18 months in 50 hl barrels and concrete tanks, to then complete the refinement in the bottle.

Intense ruby ​​red color with garnet reflections; the nose is rich and intense, with hints of blueberry, violet and wood. On the palate it is fresh and fine, with soft and subtle tannins.

Throughout the meal, it pairs well with tasty first courses or rich meat dishes, roasts and braised meats in particular.
