Description

From a grassy, non-irrigated vineyard. Meticulous grape selection is followed by destemming, then fermentation for about 18 days at a controlled temperature of 26/27°C, with frequent pumping over. Matured in oak barrels.

Tasting

Ruby red in colour. It is a very elegant and balanced wine. Intense on the nose, it immediately opens on spicy aromas of cloves and pepper, which almost immediately give way to elegant violet aromas, before giving way to fruitiness. In the mouth, it is marked by splendid freshness and intense body, with spicy returns on the finish.

Pairings

It is a very versatile wine, suitable for the whole meal, from aperitifs to important first courses. But elegance is not synonymous with lightness. Its structure pleasantly supports main courses such as mixed meat kebabs, game, braised and roasted meats. Also try it with stewed fish, perhaps smoked and spiced.
