Syrah “Vigna Piezza” Toscana IGT 2018

Vigna Piezza is the historically most important vineyard of Podere Còncori, characterized by steep slopes of the land and an exceptional microclimate, in addition to mineral soil with a good presence of silica. The nearby Serchio river plays a fundamental beneficial action on the grapes, increasing the ventilation of the entire area. The winery’s most important cru, Vigna Piezza is produced only in the best vintages. The fermentation process occurs spontaneously in a natural way, in open vats, with only punching down. The wine then ages in small 225 liter second passage oak barrels.

Ruby red color with slight purple hues; on the nose it is a succession of red fruits, pepper and mountain herbs. In the mouth it is severe, balanced and elegant.
