Grechetto 40%, Malvasia 20%, Drupeggio 20%
The grapes arrive perfectly intact and carefully selected from the vineyards of Grechetto, Drupeggio and Malvasia, and are subjected, in conditions of an inert and oxygen-free atmosphere, to cold pre-fermentation maceration. Subsequently the must ferments in small terracotta amphorae, where the wine will refine for 8/9 months, with periodic batonnages on the noble lees. An adequate glass rest completes the work.
Intense yellow color; Refined and intriguing nose, of yellow pulp fruit and white flowers, of musk and almond; the floral notes gradually give way to those of candied fruit and honey; light note of hydrocarbons and flint which becomes more accentuated with ageing. Rich and intense sip at the beginning of the tasting, it develops in a broad and persistent way, enveloping the palate and leaving a long and clean finish. Beautiful gustatory freshness that denotes great aging potential.
Elaborate dishes based on fish, white meats, game, semi-mature cheeses.
