Description

The grapes harvested by hand at the end of September are selected and left to dry in the sun on the traditional “cannizzi” for 15/20 days; once pressed they ferment in steel tanks at a controlled temperature; the wine matures in medium toasted oak barriques and in steel; only at the end does the blending with 5% Corinto Nero take place, after which it is left to refine in the bottle.

Tasting

Deep amber yellow color, with golden hints. Very intense nose with notes of apricot and figs, hints reminiscent of the Mediterranean scrub, such as thyme, rosemary, eucalyptus, and dried fruit. Majestic, persuasive, full, fresh and with great flavor.

Pairings

Desserts, dark chocolate, blue or mature cheeses, capers and salted fish, dried fruit. Magnificent even on its own.
