The History
Paul Blanck has been producing wine since 1620. Since taking over their fathers’ winery in 1984, Frédéric and Philippe have given great impetus to the diversification and valorisation of each individual parcel. In such a rich and varied territory, their commitment focuses on the production of “terroir wines”, expressions of the unique combinations of vines, soil, climate and craftsmanship.
Terroir & Winery
Domaine Paul Blanck is located in the small village of Kientzheim, in Alsace. Out of 40 hectares of vineyards, 50% is located in the Grand Crus Schlosseberg, Furstentum, Mambourg, Sommerberg and Wineck-Schlosseberg. The soils rich in silica, limestone and magnesium give that minerality that immediately distinguishes Alsatian wines.
