Luciano Sandrone is a famous name in the Barolo scene, recognized in Italy and around the world for his excellence. Fifty or more harvests, forty years of own business, three vines: Nebbiolo, Barbera and Dolcetto. Two territories, the Langa and the Roero, which together describe six great red wines.

The name of the winery originates from the history of the place. In past centuries, the farmhouse and the attached vineyards were owned by the Opera Pia Barolo and the work in the countryside was entrusted to sharecroppers, who were called “slavery”.
Fabrizio produces only local wines that have their roots in the varied terroir of Roero and which reflect it in every glass that is tasted. The family-run winery is located in Canale, the focal center of Roero, in the Madonna dei Cavalli hamlet.
