The Gaja winery has always been recognized as one of the symbolic names in the production of Barbaresco and a historical name for Italian wine in the world; Angelo Gaja undoubtedly represents a living legend of Piedmontese viticulture.
Family-run winery founded in the seventies in the heart of the Langhe in Diano d’Alba, a town of ancient origins which owes its name to the temple dedicated to Diana, the goddess of hunting.
Diego and his son Stefano manage this small winery located in the heart of the Langhe, in the municipality of Monforte d’Alba. Strength, vigorous authenticity and personality emerge clearly in all their wines and also reflect the characteristics of the people who work in this winery.
Since 1928 the Cavallotto family has cultivated the vineyards of the Bricco Boschis hill, a cru in the municipality of Castiglione Falletto, a municipality renowned for the elegance of its Barolos.
Under the imposing Biella Prealps, near Monte Rosa, Castellengo Castle is the guardian of a long winemaking tradition. Magda and Alessandro Ciccioni constantly revitalize this legacy, restoring the historic vineyards on the property, called “Centovigne” because it is made up of small vineyards between Castellengo Castle and Mottalciata, in Upper Piedmont.
Ceretto is one of the protagonists of the Langhe wine world, and one of the companies with the largest vineyard area among those in Piedmont. For three generations, the Ceretto family has been involved in viticulture, and carries forward a legacy of hard work and excellence.
The Claudio Mariotto winery shines not only for its importance within the Colli Tortonesi area, but also for having played a fundamental role in renewing and promoting the region and re-evaluating the emblematic vine of the area, Timorasso.
The farm focuses on promoting the Barbera grape variety, the most cultivated by the winery, positioned on the land with the best exposure. The older vineyards are specifically intended for the production of the prestigious Nizza DOCG wine.
Cascina Luisin shows a profound respect for the winemaking tradition of Langhe and Roero. The winery has chosen to conserve Barbera vineyards (in the old vineyard located in the prestigious “Asili” cru of Barbaresco) and Dolcetto vineyards in particularly suitable soil. Furthermore, their range also includes excellent Arneis.
