The territory differs from the imagination of that Umbria with its sweet and soft hills; here the altitudes become more important, the winds blow stronger and the temperature variations give richness and freshness to the grapes; the alluvial soils, of medium texture, rich in stone and pebbles, moderately calcareous and with a low percentage of clay, guarantee late ripening of the grapes; spontaneous fermentations in the winery and no artifice or shortcuts.
