The History
In the farming village above Ala, in 1999, Martin Mainenti founded the winery. He left Milan to return to his homeland and pursue the dream of producing wines that express the essence of Trentino, involving his family and friend Maria Marangoni.
Terroir & Winery
Located between 550 and 700m above sea level, the vineyards are arranged in small plots alternating with woods, meadows and pastures. The area is influenced by constant winds from the south and north, calcareous-loamy soils with dolomite rocks and a prevalent west and north-west exposure; This creates an ideal habitat for cultivating vines without the use of intensive interventions.
