The History
In 1975 Renato and Elena Alberti began the history of Castelveder, planting the first cuttings in their land with conviction, convinced that in it they would find the secret to producing exceptional wines. Today, Elena and Renato’s values are inherited by their grandchildren, Camilla and Francesco, who manage the family business with pride and dedication.
Terroir & Winery
The Castelveder estate is located in the hilly area that borders Lake Iseo to the south-east. The soil, of morainic origin, stands out for its notable richness in minerals, different from those naturally present in the local rock. This characteristic forms the solid basis for high-quality viticulture.
