Cavalleri, a historic family from Franciacorta, owned land in the area since 1450; it was in 1967 that Gian Paolo bottled his first wine and in 1979 that Giovanni made the first 600 bottles of Franciacorta Cavalleri; the hand then passed to the daughters Maria and Giulia who brought innovation and courage, with the transition to organic and then biodynamic agriculture, reinvigorating the artisanal approach that has always characterized family work.
