The Crociani vineyards are among the most evocative of the entire Montepulciano denomination, located in the heart of the production of Vino Nobile. Here, Sangiovese is mainly grown, locally called Prugnolo Gentile, vinified in the winery adjacent to the vineyard and matured in the fourteenth-century winerys located in the historic center of Montepulciano.

The History
Arnaldo Crociani has dedicated his life to the art of winemaking, following the family tradition. After his passing, his children Giorgio and Susanna continued with a new dynamism, taking inspiration from their father. Currently, after the premature death of her brother, Susanna continues the business with passion.
Terroir & Winery
The “Le Caggiole” vineyard, one of the most beautiful in Montepulciano, has an extension of 10 hectares, and three quarters of the vines planted are Prugnolo Gentile, followed by 15% of Canaiolo nero while the remaining surface is occupied by vines of the variety Mammolo and white grapes. The soils are of medium texture.
