Domaine Breton

A family of winemakers for several generations, the Domaine was born with the spouses Catherine and Pierre Breton who, starting from the mid-eighties, began producing their wines in the Bourgueil appellation, in the Loire Valley; since 1990 the winery has converted to organic and biodynamic agriculture, and already in 1994 Pierre dares to produce and bottle without the addition of sulphites, which he will continue to do, except for the use of very small quantities during the bottling phase when strictly necessary; beyond this, no artificial intervention is contemplated. Today the children also work in the winery and together they carry forward a natural way of making wine, from organic grapes to the bottle.
