Domaine de la Cadette is an organic winery located in Vézelay, a medieval village south of the Chablis area. Although viticulture in the area is historic, with traces dating back to the Roman Empire, the area was heavily devastated by phylloxera and the first replantings only began in 1970, which is why the AOC Vézelay has only existed since 1997.
