El Zeremia

Augusto Zadra known as “El Zeremia” was able to valorise, saving it from extinction, the Groppello di Revò, an ancient native vine of the Val di Non considered the “wine memory” of the Habsburg Trentino. It is grown in a historic proprietary vineyard, dating back to the late nineteenth century and entirely ungrafted, which dominates the Val di Non and Lake Santa Giustina from above. Now his son Lorenzo continues Augusto’s pioneering path, also cultivating resistant Johanniter grapes and Maor, the only native white grape variety already present in 1700 only in Val di Non and at the beginning of Val di Sole.
