In the heart of the Marche, in Apiro, in the Arsicci district, stands the Fattoria di Nannì, an agricultural estate dedicated to the production of Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi, where Roberto Cantori gives life to his wine creations, under the protection of Monte San Vicino and a few kilometers from the shores of the Adriatic.

Having graduated in Oenology in 2007 and after various experiences in the world of catering and wine, Roberto Cantori purchased a vineyard in the municipality of Apiro, which had been planted in Verdicchio in 1967 by “Nannì”, hence the name chosen for the estate. His adventure began from here, which was already widely appreciated by critics and enthusiasts from the first results.
Nestled on the hills of the Castelli di Jesi, at around 450m above sea level, the 8.5 hectares of property are divided into 5 small vineyards, mainly cultivated with Verdicchio, but also with Maceratino, Trebbiano and Malvasia. The processes are carried out manually and naturally, with spontaneous and generally reduction fermentation, i.e. using procedures in the absence of oxygen, which allow Verdicchio to preserve its fine and complex aromatic potential to the maximum.
