Fruitiere Vinicole Pupillin

In 1909, 33 farmers from the village of Arbois decided to join forces to cope with a catastrophic economic situation by founding a fruit and wine production winery. On 13 February 1909 the cooperative’s statutes were adopted: 33 members for 23 hectares of vineyards. In the 1960s, many farmers began to move towards the exclusive cultivation of vines and consequently the cooperative’s hectares of vineyards also gradually increased; to date the surface area is around 65 hectares and brings together 35 members, on average around two hectares each.
