Giovanni Almondo

The Almondo family has been present in the municipal registers of Montà since the 14th century and has resided for generations in the Vittori area, once the center of peasant life, today the heart of the Arneis vineyards. In 1980, after graduating in Agricultural Sciences, Domenico Almondo decided to focus on quality viticulture, with the aim of producing an elegant and distinctive Arneis, enhancing its unique aromas and flavours. Through innovations such as temperature control, the use of inert gas and the careful management of fine lees, he has given life to a personal style, characterized by intense aromas and a marked minerality.
