The History
Silvio Jermann, son of Angelo and Bruna, graduated in oenology both in Conegliano and San Michele, in the early 1970s, upon returning from his long work experience overseas, gave a new imprint and a new impetus to the family business: he manages to give his wines greater character, to make them better express their aromatic potential and pleasantness; creates the famous Vintage Tunina blend, the success of which will drive the winery towards its new course.
Terroir & Winery
The winery’s vineyards are distributed in three key areas: the Ruttars hill, characterized by light and fresh soils, and a moderately warm microclimate with significant night-time temperature variations; the stony soils of the Isonzo area, known for being sunny but well ventilated; and finally to Villanova di Farra, where the ancient winery is located, in a suggestive part of the Collio DOC.
