The History
The property was acquired by the Meroni family in 1935 even though the wine production was certainly older. A cadastral map from 1700 indicates the property as a farm used as a vineyard. Katia and Carlo, who today manage the winery, are the third generation of the Meroni family.
Terroir & Winery
The drying of the grapes takes place in the drying loft above the winery, in a completely natural way, for the traditional one hundred days. The aging for all the wines is particularly long and 25hl Slavonian oak barrels are used, which are the traditional ones in Valpolicella.
