Canneto Pavese is a small municipality in the Oltrepò Pavese traditionally linked to wine production. When during the twentieth century these territories turned exclusively to commercial production, the most suitable vineyards were gradually abandoned, because they were less profitable and located in areas that were difficult to cultivate. Their recovery has only occurred in recent years thanks to passionate young winemakers such as Andrea Picchioni.

The History
The history of the estate begins in 1988 when Andrea recovers some abandoned vineyards, particularly suited to the Canneto Pavese area; The collaboration with the oenologist Giuseppe Zatti, starting from 1995, proved to be very precious.
Terroir & Winery
The estate is managed with organic procedures, achieved through the use of water from its own wells and organic fertilization; a part of the estate surface is kept as forest ensuring good oxygenation of the entire area. The processes in the winery are rigorous, following the lines of those applied in the field.
