In Levico Terme at 600m above sea level, at the foot of the Lagorai chain, stands Cantina Romanese; born in 2009 from the desire of the brothers Giorgio and Andrea to redevelop viticulture in Valsugana, once one of the most important wine-growing areas of Trentino, today it produces Trento Doc still and sparkling wines. Since 2013 it has produced the first and only Trento Doc aged in the depths of the Lake Levico, 20 meters deep for 500 days.
