The History
The Scala Fenicia winery, which dates back to the early 19th century, is a lasting testimony to the tradition of Capri, made up of evocative historical places and characterized by people like Luigi Esposito, a legendary eighty-year-old who dedicated his entire life to the care of the land and of the plants from which the Capri Bianco Doc is born today. Thanks to the treasure kept by Luigi and his wise advice, Andrea Koch today carries on the winery with care, passion and transparency.
Terroir & Winery
On the north-east side of the island, facing the Gulf of Naples, clinging to the centuries-old terraces, the Greco, Falanghina and Biancolella grapes are born and grown which will be transformed into the white Capri DOC. This little magic takes place eighty meters above sea level, on a patch of rocky land less than half a hectare in size.
