The History
Antinori’s arrival in Puglia dates back to 1998, with the mission of becoming the protagonist of the renaissance of a regional winemaking tradition that is too often underestimated or mistreated. From the beginning, Tormaresca has tried to promote the great qualitative potential inherent in the varieties it grows.
Terroir & Winery
Tormaresca is made up of two distinct estates, located in the most suitable areas of the region: Masseria Maime in the Salento area, and Tenuta Carrubo in the DOC of Manduria. Mechanization, replanting planning, conventional agricultural practices and farm efficiency do not conflict with environmental preservation. In fact, a considerable number of hectares are dedicated to woods, and the vineyards blend harmoniously with the surrounding landscape.
