A place of extraordinary biodiversity located on the slopes of Vesuvius which attracts visitors from all over the world. This oasis was founded in 1997 by Vincenzo Ambrosio and is managed with passion by his entire family. It was one of the pioneers in receiving organic production recognition for both grapes and olives.

The History

The winery was founded in 1997 by Vincenzo Ambrosio, who inherited the love for the land of Vesuvius from his grandfather. For over 25 years, Villa Dora has been committed to producing wines that capture the essence of this volcanic territory.

Terroir & Winery

Vesuvius in this area makes the soil fertile and generous, well drained, promoting biodiversity and the organoleptic richness of agricultural products. The vineyard is totally surrounded by the woods of the Vesuvius National Park. The land is not worked, it is well grassed and rich in numerous essences that come from the forest. The historic grapes of this area, Coda di Volpe, Falanghina, Piedirosso and Aglianico, were planted with the typical Vesuvian pergola system.
