Description

Harvested by hand at the end of November, when the leaves have fallen and the grapes are attacked by noble rot; very soft and slow pressing, cold static decantation, stay in barrique until blended with 9 previous vintages and bottling.

Tasting

Deep golden yellow color with amber reflections; complex nose of husk and almond, honey, beeswax, vanilla and butter, mineral notes of flint and hydrocarbons and fruity notes of peach, lemon and white fruit. Upon sipping, the honey notes are accentuated, caused by the sweet residual sugar. the sustained acidity cleans the palate and enhances the persistent aftertaste of almond, dried figs and toasted oak wood.
