60% Nero di Troia, 14% Bombino Bianco, 13% Montepulciano, 13% Sangiovese
From gently sloping limestone soils at an altitude of 300 metres, comes this wine; a DOC that is as little known as it is absolutely surprising. Vinified in truncated French oak vats for about ten days, it continues its maturation in temperature-controlled steel tanks. Only indigenous yeasts and no filtration or clarification.
Intense ruby red in colour, it expresses itself with hints of black cherry and currants, underbrush, leather, tobacco and spices. On the palate it is intense and soft, fragrant and of great expressiveness and persistence.
