Artiul Merlot Riserva Friuli Colli Orientali DOC 2019

Manual harvest of perfectly healthy and ripe grapes with late harvest. Long maceration on the skins in conical oak vats without temperature control and without the use of selected yeasts, enzymes, etc. Frequent crushing. After fermentation, it is drawn off, pressed and left to age in 225l French oak barriques for 24 months. At the right time it is bottled in the waning moon of August/September without filtration and clarification.

Ruby red color with garnet shades; intense and enveloping nose of spices, tobacco and undergrowth with its fruits; full and warm sip, of great complexity and long persistence.
