From a two-hectare vineyard at 300m above sea level, on soil of volcanic origin, mainly sandy with the presence of silt and clay. Fermentation and maceration with daily pumping over and punching down for 15 days. Malolactic fermentation in wood occurs naturally immediately after racking or during the following spring. Aging maturation in large oak barrels for approximately 48 months. Aged for 6 months in the bottle before distribution.
Garnet red color with orange reflections. On the nose it is complex and elegant. Berries, citrus fruits, withered flowers, pepper and a light ferrous and mineral note. In the mouth it is slim, very fresh with solid but well-balanced tannins.
Poultry, game, game, red meats, roasts, braised meats, mature cheeses.
