100% Sangiovese
Sangiovese Grosso grapes harvested from the oldest winery vineyards; alcoholic fermentation with maceration of the skins for 25/30 days at a controlled temperature and spontaneous malolactic fermentation, both in truncated cone-shaped Slavonian oak vats. Aging in Slavonian oak barrels of 10 to 32 hl for 34-38 months; follows bottle aging for at least 6 months.
Intense ruby color with garnet reflections. Intense and ethereal nose, of red fruit and vanilla. Balance and harmony in the mouth, with excellent tannins and structure, and long persistence.
Grilled red meats, game, mature cheeses.
