Description

The grapes are harvested between mid- and late-September, dried in a fruit cellar for 4 months, followed by soft pressing and slow fermentation for 40-60 days at a controlled temperature of 15°C. The wine matures in Slavonian oak barrels for 48 months and then refines in the bottle for at least 12 months.

Tasting

Intense and clear ruby red color; nose of raspberry and currant, with balsamic and tobacco notes; ample and elegant sip, with great structure, fresh and intense fruit, and a long finish.

Stewed red meats, game, mature cheeses.
