Description

The two varietals are vinified separately, with maceration on the skins for 10-14 days; the Sangiovese is vinified in stainless steel, while the Pugnitello is vinified in conical oak vats. The two wines are then blended in oval oak barrels, where they age for 8 months.

Tasting

A nose of cherry and aromatic herbs with hints of leather and licorice; a full-bodied and enveloping palate.
