Description

Sauvignon Blanc DOC Contessa Lene represents the South Tyrolean winegrowing soul of the Counts Thun. This product is the result of the careful hand harvesting of the grapes from the vineyards clinging to the steep terrain in Terlano, the home of Sauvignon, at an altitude of 400 m, where the sunshine and the temperature fluctuations between day and night help to enhance aromas and flavours. The estate’s own grapes, cultivated in South Tyrol, are vinified at the Conti Thun winery in Puegnago del Garda.

Tasting

Straw yellow colour. The nose is intense and complex, with notes of elderflower, tropical fruit and balsamic herbs. Fresh, intense and savoury on the palate, full-bodied but at the same time elegant and velvety.
