Description

Cruna deLago is one hectare of vineyard, one of the oldest cultivated by the family, with Falanghina vines over 60 years old; it is rooted on sandy soil of volcanic origin, with the presence of ash and lapilli. This Cru expresses the full potential of the vine and the terroir, together with the longevity of a Falanghina produced according to tradition.

Tasting

Brilliant straw yellow colour; lemon and citron nose, with hints of yellow-fleshed fruit, thyme and rosemary, and smoky and hydrocarbon notes. On the palate, it is full and enveloping but with great freshness, with a distinct savouriness and a long, iodised finish.

Pairings

Perfect for fish dishes as well as seafood and white meat. Suitable for more complex and sophisticated cuisine.
