Due Querce Cabernet Sauvignon Garda DOC 2017

Made with grapes from the “San Macario” vineyard, characterized by white, arid soil of morainic-glacial origin with a high percentage of sand and silt. Traditional red winemaking with maceration on the skins for about 25 days, with frequent pump-overs and punch-downs. After racking, it ages in 5-hectoliter wooden barrels, where it remains for at least 15 months.

A solid, robust, and structured sanguine red wine. Upon opening, it reveals red fruit preserved in spirits: plum, blackberry, and cherry. It softens in the glass, releasing warm woody notes and recalling the creaminess of hazelnut. On the palate, it is smooth, full-bodied, and rounded, with an acidic note that keeps it from becoming overly liqueur-like, making it fresh and easy to drink.
