Description

Manual harvesting in boxes with selection in the vineyard at the end of September/beginning of October; the grapes are destemmed, crushed and left to ferment in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks. From the earliest stages, daily pumping over and several delestages are carried out; maceration lasts about 10 days; the wine matures for 6/12 months in Slavonian and French oak barrels of medium capacity; it is refined in the bottle for 6 months.

Tasting

Intense ruby red colour; intensely fruity nose of raspberry, cherry and blackberry; taste characterised by varietal typicality supported by significant oak ageing.

Pairings

Earthy starters, first courses with meat and game sauces, grilled red meats, medium-aged cheeses.
