Julius Rosso Conero DOC 2023

Harvest at the end of September or early October. Overall fermentation of 10/15 days in steel fermenters at controlled temperatures. Malolactic fermentation and elevation for 6/8 months in large wood or barrique. Bottle refinement for 6 months.

Ruby red color with violet reflections. Fruity nose of wild cherry, currant and blueberry, with spicy notes emerging from the fruit. Full and enveloping on the palate, with well-present, silky and spicy tannins, with good persistence.

Cured meats, savory pies, meat-based first courses, omelettes, roast rabbit, roasts, medium-aged cheeses.
