Kerner
Vineyard of origin: Municipality of Segonzano, Stedro area; surface area 0.285ha, planting space 3.00×0.80 with south/west exposure and altitude 650 m/slm. Breeding in Pergola Trentina, 3500 plants/ha. Year of planting 2006, yield per hectare of 100 quintals/ha. Light gravelly soil, of porphyritic origin. Manual harvest in 200 kg boxes. Vinification: extraction of free-run must with soft pressing, static decantation of the must for 24 hours, inoculation of selected yeasts, fermentation at a controlled temperature of 14/16°C. Maturation in stainless steel tanks for 6 months. Bottle refinement for at least 2 months.
Straw yellow color with greenish reflections, good aroma, hints of tropical fruit and apple; wine with a good structure, excellent minerality with a acidic finish.
Shellfish, mature cheeses.
