Lacrima di Morro d’Alba Selezione “Luigino Le Goduriose” DOC 2013

This wine is a cellar selection and derives from the assembly of the product obtained during the various end-fermentation rackings of the grapes harvested in the winery’s best vineyards. Each vat or barrel produces a maximum of 10% of product with noble lees which is placed in small steel barrels, where the elevation continues for 18 months. During this period, constant batonnage interventions and subsequent decantings for clarification and cleaning are carried out. At the end of maturation, the best barrels are chosen and assembled. Bottle refinement takes place for 12 months.

Impenetrable ruby, with violet reflections. Very intense and aromatic on the nose, of rose flowers, violets, and berries, complex and full of interesting aromatic evolutions during oxygenation in the glass. Good body, long and slightly spicy finish.

A versatile wine perfect for accompanying a platter of cured meats and cheeses, but also traditional meat-based appetizers and first courses.
