Description

After an initial contact with the skins, fermentation begins at a controlled temperature of 28°C. Refines in Slavonian oak barrels for 24 months. Before being put on the market it rests for 12 months in the bottle.

Tasting

Intense ruby red color with garnet reflections. On the nose, red fruit stands out, ripe strawberry, cherry, raspberry and also currant and blackberry. This is then followed by hints of flowering violet and lavender. The finish reveals a spicy touch, refined vanilla, cinnamon and white chocolate. Elegant sip with a soft and enveloping tannin, good structure and body, with balsamic and mineral notes, and a return of the spicy hints perceived on the nose.

Pairings

Ideal with roast meats, but also a risotto with Treviso radicchio and a selection of mature cheeses.
