Description

The Chardonnay grapes come from one of the best areas of the Meursault Village denomination: excellent exposure to the east, magnificent terroir, soil with a depth of 40/50 cm, on lava subsoil. Located halfway up the slope, on well-balanced soil between clay and limestone, with few stones.

Tasting

In the olfactory bouquet the scent is delicate, fresh and characterized by mineral notes of flint and gunpowder, accompanied by light herbaceous hints. On the palate, a marked acidity emerges, a strong mineral character that gives liveliness and clarity, all balanced by a solid and pleasant structure. The aftertaste is persistent, with a broad aromatic profile that lasts.

Pairings

It goes well with structured and elegant first courses and with second courses including white meat.
