Sangiovese, Sagrantino, Barbera, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon
Destemming, fermentation and maceration in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 28°C for approximately 15 days, with daily pumping over and delestage; post-fermentation maceration for 4/5 days. Aging in oak barrels for 12 months.
Intense ruby red colour, on the nose it expresses the characteristics of the terroir of the Montefalco area. It is a mix of balsamic tones and fruity notes, ranging from cherries to currants, passing through blackberry and plum. Fresh palate with balanced tannins. The flavor further enlivens the tasting, although already fruity and balsamic.
