The grapes are hand-picked from vines of about 40 years of age and on soils of marine sand, gravel and marl. After the harvest the must ferments spontaneously, with only indigenous yeasts, with daily punching down and a maceration in contact with the skins for about 15 days. The wine is then refined in tonneaux for about 2 years.
Intense ruby red color. The nose is complex and deep, of blueberry and blackberry, with notes of tobacco and violet; enveloping and intense sip, warm and balanced. Excellent persistence on slightly spicy nuances with a very savory finish.
Red meat, risotto, soups, boiled meats.
