Pinot Noir
In Montefranco, near Merano, on south-western slopes at 350 and 550 meters above sea level, on porphyritic soil and moraine soil, Pinot Noir is grown which gives rise to this reserve. It matures for 15 months in barriques and rests for some time in the bottle before being released on the market.
Intense ruby red color and lively bouquet with fruity notes of blackberry and cherry. Well structured, with pronounced tannins, yet harmonious on the palate, rich and elegant.
First courses with meat or game sauces, lamb, game, medium-aged cheeses.
