“Primo” Morellino di Scansano Riserva DOCG 2016

Produced only in the best years from perfect bunches harvested by hand. Vinification according to Scansano tradition, with 20 days’ maceration at controlled temperature. Aged for 18 months in barriques and at least 8 months in bottles before release.

It has a ruby red colour with brick-red reflections; the nose has hints of vanilla, toasted tobacco, liquorice, black pepper, black cherry under spirits; the palate is clean and elegant, with good complexity, and the hints of cocoa and coffee return.

Game, furry game, barbecued red meats, mature pecorino cheese.
