Description

Fermentation of fresh grapes in September/October at controlled temperatures. The wine ages for at least three years in large 30hl Slavonian oak barrels in the ancient cellar of Villa De Buris, followed by two years in stainless steel; then, it ages in the bottle.

Tasting

Intense ruby red color; nose of ripe cherry, morello cherry, and plum, with perfectly integrated peppery notes and subtle tertiary aromas that lend depth and complexity; upright sip of lively acidity and savory flavors, with dense, velvety tannins, for a harmonious and balanced overall experience, with a long finish.
