Valpolicella Classico Superiore “Ripasso” 2019

The three classic varieties are grown in the Veronese pergola on terraces made with traditional dry stone walls, the “marogne”, on volcanic rocks with a layer of limestone deposits. The Valpolicella wine of the vintage is decanted onto the freshly drawn off marc of the Amarone, still generous in structure and aromas. This is followed by punching down and delestage to enrich the structure and aromas. Maturation in large oak barrels.

Intense ruby ​​red color. On the nose ripe blackberries and cherries, spices and fresh flowers. Elegant and balanced in the mouth, despite the strength of the fruit and notes of bitter cocoa on the finish.
