Verdicchio dei Castelli di Jesi Classico Superiore DOC 2018

The vines have an average age of around 45 years and enjoy privileged exposure towards the east. The soil in which they are rooted is characterized by a medium-textured texture, predominantly clayey, and benefits from a rich presence of active limestone. After harvesting, the pressed grapes are sent to alcoholic fermentation thanks to the Native yeasts naturally present on their skin. The entire winemaking process, including the aging periods, takes place inside steel tanks, thus preserving the unique characteristics of the terroir and the grape.

With an intense straw yellow color, on the nose, it offers a clearly fruity and floral bouquet, with clear notes of golden apple, acacia flowers and a hint of dried fruit. In the mouth, it is fresh and tasty, with a well-balanced body and extraordinary finesse. The sip is elegantly composed and ends with a pleasant and persistent almond aftertaste.

Excellent as an aperitif, it goes well with fish first courses, shellfish broths, white meats and fresh cheeses.
